To promote Chinese language and culture in Slovakia and support the study of China related topics, the Confucius Institute established a library holding Chinese language textbooks, professional and popular science literature, translations of Chinese literary works, and also a rich database of Chinese movies and Chinese music. Most of the textbooks, books and movies are in Chinese and English language, some of teaching materials and dictionaries also in Slovak language.
